Imagemagick on Mac OS X Can't Post

Hi, we have been asked to install Imagemagick on a Mac OS X (10.5) server. Realty Manager is already installed... and we did install Imagemagick - at least according to the Imagemagick install procedure it works ... but it is not working with Realty Manager yet. Any tips or tricks from anyone who has installed on Mac OS X?

Hi

Thanks for posting!

We aren't really server admins here in the office so hopefully the community can jump in on this one.

One thing to keep in mind is that the thumbnailing modules aren't actually required by the software. They are just nice to have :).

I understand Imagemagick is not required but well the client wants them installed... he is switching from another hosting service to ours... and there seems to be a issue where maybe RM is looking for a particular path to call Imagemagick and it's not working ... I don't really uinderstand how to test RM or where it is looking.

Hi.

Thanks for posting again :).

We actually have a test script that I could send you. Would you mind putting through a support request?

Basically, Realty Manager is setup to work with a default installation of ImageMagick so you'll definitely want to make sure and use all the default settings.

As an alternative, you could try installing GD. It's the other thumbnailing module that Realty Manager is setup to work with.
