Homepage Editor Text Can't Post

Hi all,

I've 2 users setup superuser and administrator. As I wish to retain full control, I've set myself as the superuser and the client as the administrator. However, I've set it so effectively, the Homepage editor is used as a CMS for the main site homepage (index.htm). I've therefore set up the descriptive field which is great and set up _publish_homepage_index.html fields as needed.

If (as a superuser) I type in the homepage descriptive field box (Homepage editor >superuser>update), it appears on my index.htm page. However, If i add text as the administrator (Homepage editor >administrator>update), it doesn't appear and I've got to go to h0001.htm (the page it creates for this user account)

How do I get the administrator text content to appear instead of mine (superuser)?

If it helps, I've set the Homepage Directory URL to not be the standard dir but my main root dir so it produces the index page in the right place (hope that makes sense!)

Thanks in advanced

jarvis

Re: [jarvis] Homepage Editor Text [In reply to] Can't Post

As a sub note to this, and incase I've not been to clear. I'm trying to get the description field I've setup to display on the index page, which in my case would be $hfield2$ but I only want it to show the info entered by user number 2 which I believe would be $user_num$_2 so how can I join them together to show the description text entered by user number 2 on the index page? I've tried $user_num$_2_hfield2 but to no avail.

I hope that helps clarify things?

Many thanks

Hi Jarvis,

Hmm, I think I'd have to take a look at that to get a better idea of how you've changed that around, as I'm not quite getting it from your description. Would you be able to fill in a support request here?
