Generating Secure ASP files with LM Can't Post

I'm currently working on a real estate site (http://www.fredwilliamshomes.com/site2/index.html) that uses Listings Manager for the main property listings. However, in addition to the main listings, the company would also like to have a password-protected section consisting of links to permits, blueprints, etc (http://www.fredwilliamshomes.com/site2/ajlogin/... you can login as jclayton/marketing if you'd like, although there's really not any content yet). I've got the password-protection system in place, but I'm trying to determine if there is a way to use Listings Manager for this section. Primarily, I'm wondering if it would be possible to configure LM to generate these pages as ASP files (while still generating standard HTML files for the non-secure pages). Could something like this be done?

Hi there,

Listings Manager can really only create files in two directories -- the listings & the homepages. It's not really possible to split them up the way you're describing.

You could do something like that with CMS Builder, but the pages would have to be in PHP, not ASP. Would something like that work?

Honestly, I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to either ASP or PHP, so while I think PHP would work, I'd have to check on that to be sure.

What about password-protection? I'd need to set up multiple logins and passwords for the section in question. Is that something that can be handled through CMS Builder or would I have to figure out how to make that work on my own?

Password protection for public pages would be handled externally to our software -- check with your hosting provider for basic .htaccess style password protection, or search for "member management" software for something a bit more robust. :)

I hope this helps!
