Damaged ADMIN system due to server lack of space. Can't Post

Hello Team,
Me again (sigh) - with a problem at http://www.agencelunion.com/

This website hit the server space limit whilst re-publishing all listings and failed to complete the run. NetNation increased the space today and so we re-ran Publish All Listings = CRASH with error message " DB_Load : No record number was specified! " On closing ADMIN it was noticed that there are stray lines across the bottom of the AMIN screen. Perhaps an admin file has been damaged ?

Your advice would be appreciated.
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

Running out of space tends to be a rather annoying issue, since the program will have been interrupted while writing a file (obviously!)

It's unlikely that any of the admin programs would have been changed, as Listman doesn't write to any of those files. Usually, the all-so-important files in the /data/ directory are the culprits. Unfortunately, the best bet here is to simply reload from your most recent backup to try to restore, since it's hard to say what data was actually lost, and if it's possible to bring it back otherwise. (Alternately, you can try downloading some files and looking at them in a text editor if you're familiar with the data structure.)

Mostly, though, I'd recommend grabbing a recent backup and go from there.

That said -- if, for some reason, the server DID do something weird, there's nothing to be lost by re-uploading the admin.cgi & the interface templates, just in case. :)

Hello Donna,
Thought it may clear slight display oddities if we uploaded admin.cgi.
Did that and got a message " You must run the installation program (install.cgi) before you can continue. ".

This is beyond me - so can you / the team do it for me ?
Presumably a support request ?

Thanks
Nick

Yep, that sounds like the best bet.
