Changing Hosts Can't Post

I am transferring my listings manager site from one host where I have a reseller account running Parellels EnsimPro control panel to a new host running Plesk Panel 9.2.1. both are unix environments.
What is the best way to facilitate the move, and what will I need to change. I note that on the current server there are listman folders in the Cgi-bin folder and in the mainsite html folder.
Is it easier to upload fresh files to new server then copy over the listings and template folders?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Hi there,

The easiest way to move servers is to simply install a clean version of Listings Manager on your new server, then move the following directories over:

/templates/_<industry> (pick the folder that your customized templates are saved in)
/data/
/listings/images/
/homepages/images/

If you have a separate cgi-bin directory, the first two will be in there, and the last two will be in your regular web directory.

Move each of those directories over to the new server, then log into Listings Manager (with your old username & password), go to Setup Options -> Server, and update the paths to your new server. Then, publish everything (from the "General" tab) and you're good to go. :)
