couple of questions :) Can't Post

Boy do you guys make this hard Wink

I need to get round to building a long planned property site.

I purchased listings manager some time ago, and have never used it. Don't even think I downloaded it! Shocked

In a recent email correspondance, I was advised to possibly use CMS. However I now see you have this product.

Am I correct in saying that this really replaces listings manager? (certainly as far as property is concerned)

Is this the same as CMS except with pre-built templates for property? In otherwords is it the full CMS, and not a cut down version?

Finally would I be better off forgetting listings manager and getting this product?

Any timescale for a demo? Would love to see this in use somewhere.

isdoo,

Listings Manager is a great product for showing realty listings. However, it is limited to just controlling the listings portion of your website.

CMS Builder will control the listings and all of the other content of your website (if you set it up to do so). The concept is basically the same as Listings Manager, but you are using PHP instead of CGI.

The Instant Realty Website is the same product as CMS Builder, but it does come with a lot of the realty templates ready to go.

Here is a front end example of where CMS Builder controls 95% of the website. The other 5% is controlled by other PHP scripting such as contact forms and appointment forms. The pictures are also enhanced with another php script that makes them zoom in on the screen.

With a bit of knowledge and support here on the forums, you will be able to do so much more than Listings Manager can do.

Let me know if you have any questions

Thanks for the reply.

I would like to get confirmed that the two CMS's are the same, and updated at the same time etc.

In otherwords if we use the property version, and then at some date decide to use the software for another poduct then we can.

Many thanks.

Hi there,

Instant Realty Website is driven by CMS Builder, and at the moment, the main differences are that it's pre-configured with Realty-based fields and has a basic set of realty templates. (Note: This may change.)

That said, it is not interchangeable with CMS Builder -- while you could strip it down and "revamp" it to work like CMS Builder, the license keys are not interchangeable, so you wouldn't be able to simply download a copy of CMS Builder and install it as is. You would always need to be running Instant Realty Website specifically.

I hope this helps. :)
