Renaming default listings section Can't Post
Hi,

1) As mentioned in a previous post I am using Instant realty not to display realty listings but as an accommodation facility, allowing advertisers to maintain their own listings for hotels, guest houses, caravan parks etc, I have altered the required fields within the default listings section, however as I intend to create seperate/additional sections for camp caravan parks, holiday property rentals etc I wanted to change the default section from "Listings" to Hotels and Guest Houses" however whenever I try to rename the section it remains as Listings, can you tell me whether it is possible to change the default listings category to an alternative section and table name and if so how and will it have any unwanted effects on searches and listings?

2) If I create additional sections for alternative accommodation types will it be simple enough to have search facilities for each section independantly.

Hi there.

Thanks for posting!

I'll go over your questions one at a time :).

1. When you say it still says Listings when you change the name, do you mean it doesn't change in the interface itself? Or are you referring to the published pages?

2. Once you start creating additional sections, you can have as many searches as you need. They are fairly straight forward to create.

Get back to me on point 1 and we'll go over it in more detail together.

Hi Ross,

As you suspected it looks as though this is related to other issue as tried the same action in firefox and all worked fine, will wait to hear if you have managed to replicate other issue, incidentally have installed program again on main domain and have same IE8 issues although it is still through the same hosting company and server.
