     Realty Manager - newest listings first  
I'm still using Realty Manager for a few of my customers. They want me to list the newest listings first. I've done this in the past, but can't remember how I did it. It was done somehow using a "mark_new" or "shownew" variable in the URL.

I'm not sure if you guys still offer forum support for Realty Manager or not, but if so, I would certainly appreciate your insight into how to do this.

If I remember correctly, it listed ones that were something like less than 30 days old or something similar.

Ok, I don't quite have it. I know how to make a listing appear as a new listing using the marknew variable. I also know how to restrict the listings to ONLY show new listings by using the shownew variable.

However, what I don't know how to do it make the new listings appear first followed by other listings in a specified sort order.

For instance, I want to display listings lowest price to highest, but I want new listings to always appear at the top of the list.

How do I do this?

We don't actually offer free support for Realty Manager anymore as it was discontinued a few years ago. This forum is actually for CMS Builder's Realty, Auto & Listings addons.

Or, take a look at this page in the documentation for more information on how to change the sort order for your listings. (Note that to change the sort order, you won't use the index.html page anymore, but rather will use the search results.)
