Problem with sessions Can't Post
I seem to have a small problem with sessions.

When I installed DocBuilder, the domain hadn't resolved so I used the IP address. Now that the domain's resolved I'm trying to use that.

However, I keep getting bounced out of the app and it tells me my session has expired.

I can still access everything via IP, but not via domain.

Any ideas how I can change that?

This is the first time that I have had to ask this, but here it goes. I can't seem to get to the bottom of this one, so would you mind filling in a Support Request? It will provide me with additional information that I would like to get regarding your installation setup, and I don't want to ask for your FTP info in the forum Cool

Hi Cliff,

You're going to hate me for this, but I've managed to cure the problem but I'm not entirely sure how.Unsure

The first thing I did was change the license information to reflect the domain rather than the IP address. That didn't cure the problem.

I then did something extremely rash and deleted the data/session.dat.cgi file (I figured I'd reinstall if it completely messed up). That didn't seem to make any difference though.

In the end I figured that this had to be browser/session based somehow, so I cleared all my cookies and temporary internet files and tried again. No luck - the problem was still happening.

That's when I posted here.

However, I logged back on this morning (my PC's been rebooted) and picked up your reply to my post and - as part of the process of getting the info together for the support ticket - I tried everything out again and, lo and behold, it all worked! I can now access everything fine by domain name.

Let me know if you still want to have a rummage around to try and figure out what went on and I'll raise a ticket, but it seems to be working now. We can put this down to 'idiot user error' (the idiot being me in this case) if you like, although I'm not sure why.
