Expand Menu Can't Post

Some of my visitors do not realize, at least right away, that you can click on the plus sign to expand the menu. I would like to make it so that when you clicked on one of the top level menu items, all the children of only that item would expand.
Thanks for your help!

Robert

Re: [MayDay] Expand Menu [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi MayDay,

Thanks for posting.

If you want to have the menu expanded, try using the method described in this post. I think that will give you the effect that you are looking for. If it doesn't just let me know an I see if there is another solution for you.

Re: [Cliff] Expand Menu [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Cliff,
I saw the post you refered me to. But what I want is a little different. Initially all the menus are collapsed. When you click on one item, its children expand and not the others. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Robert

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your patience.

I've been looking into this for a while, but I wasn't able to find a way of easily doing this. I'm not much of a JavaScript guru myself, but I'm sure that someone with a better knowledge of JavaScript would be find a way of getting the menus to work in the way that you have described.

I really wish that I had a solution for you Robert, but if you have any additional questions or comments please don't hesitate to let me know Smile
