single page global index Can't Post
Hi people, I have just setup AM2 to publish into single category pages and then entered a 'featured' field into the category database. I then created an unlinked 'front' page category which is set to 'display this article first in lists': this now functions as my index page...all works well, however the global index content is published into a file here:

http://cope-interactive.co.uk/artman2/publish/pageName.shtml

Instead of:

http://cope-interactive.co.uk/artman2/publish/index.shtml
(which displays some footer html in the browser!)

Methinks I may have messed up the publishing rules for global index..any ideas?

What do you have setup as the filename in the global index publish rule?

Hi Donna, I do have the file name set as 'pageName' and <ext> though whatever I enter in this field, no changes are made!

Hi David,

That should be set as "index". :) Change where you have "pageName" to "index" and that should fix it up.
