iATOM Feed? Can't Post

I am working on a project and have been told I need to develop an iATOM feed. Is it possible to develop an iATOM feed of content generated from Article Manager? If so, how do I do it?

Thank you

Hi Brian,

Should be -- can you be more specific about how you need the content laid out? If you post an example of how the content should be formatted, I can give you some suggestions on how to set up a publish rule & template that will make that file. Also, take a look at the RSS feed publish rule & template for an idea of how it would work. :)

Re: [Donna] iATOM Feed? [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Donna,

Thank you. To be quite honest, I'm not exactly sure what is required. I believe they want something like my rss feed for my local news category at http://www.1170kfaq.com/artman2/publish/local_7/rss.xml but prefer it to be an ATOM feed to be consistent with their other feeds. Other than that, I am not sure what information they might need. For now, I guess I was just looking for information on whether it was possible to set something like this up. Thank you for your help. :)

Hi Brian,

Yep, it's definitely possible! You'd basically just need the format of the feed you want -- I recommend basically just getting a basic format down for how you want your own feed to look, if you've got an example of an existing atom feed that has the information in it you want, that'll do just fine. :)
