error when creating category or article Can't Post
Errors when making categories or articles.

When I create a category I get an error on the publishing in progress page of...

Publishing: Article Pages (articlePages)
- Article: Gym Marketing
Error: Couldn't create '/usr/www/vhosts/a/alldancecentral.com/www/pubhtml/dancearticles/publish/dance-studio-marketing' : No such file or directory at /usr/www/vhosts/a/alldancecentral.com/www/pubhtml/cgi-bin/articlescgi/modules//IT/ArtMan/CustomMenus/Publish.pm line 415.

The counter at the top of the page is not counting. When the page finally refreshes after the bottom one counts the full 60 seconds I get the error.

The server timed out and was unable to complete publishing.
The last status message was: Error: Couldn't create '/usr/www/vhosts/a/alldancecentral.com/www/pubhtml/dancearticles/publish/dance-studio-marketing' : No such file or directory at /usr/www/vhosts/a/alldancecentral.com/www/pubhtml/cgi-bin/articlescgi/modules//IT/ArtMan/CustomMenus/Publish.pm line 415.

I noticed in the error path right before the IT folder there is a double forward slash. Could that be causing it?

Hi there,

Nope, the doubleslash is fine, but it sounds like you might have an error in your paths. First, check in Admin -> Server Settings, and if the paths look correct there, doublecheck any custom paths in your publish rules (Admin -> Publishing.)

I asked my server to change permissions on 2 of the folders and now it is fine
