When uploading classic templates, I see the old template, but there are erros when published - [an error occurred while processing this directive]

see this at http://www.consumertravelletter.com

Donna still has all my user / password info from these installs (for this and the WYSIWYG issue posted earlier regarding my other 2 AM2 built sites

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the post!

I've had a look at your site for you here and it looks like the issue is just related to the placeholders that are set on your templates.

I did tweak your /articleLists/globalIndex.html template and you can see that the styles are showing up fine now here: http://consumertravelletter.com/artman2/publish/

Beyond this, I did notice a couple of template includes that are still not working here (this is where you see the message "an error occurred while processing this directive"). From what I can tell the issue is related to not having the appropriate publishing rules to create the files that are being looked for.

Because the old templates work differently than the new ones, there are some additional publishing rules that need to be created. This is why the classic templates include the raw HTML template files, along with a data file called "db_publishrules.dat.cgi". If you backup the existing file with this name in /cgi-bin/artman2/data/ and move the one that came from classic.zip to the /data/ folder you should be able to re-publish all within Article Manager and see the appropriate data showing up.

I hope this helps Peter! Smile
