What to do with artman2 directory after upgrade Can't Post

I've finished the upgrade from 1.4 to 2.02 and everything is working great. The only problem I had was taken care of by Ross in no time flat, Thanks Ross!!. I'd like to say that I am blown away by the support.

So now I have published articles in artman/publish and the program in artman2. Would it be your suggestion to delete artman, (with backup until change over is finished), rename artman2 to artman, and change server settings to point to artman as opposed to artman2 or?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the post!

I am glad to hear that everything is working well for you. :)

If you are planning to take Article Manager2 live I would recommend first renaming your /artman/ directories, perhaps to /OLD_artman/. This way you can finish the change over and make the /artman/ directory where your Article Manager2 files publish to. Once you are confident that all is working correctly you could go back and delete the /OLD_artman/ directories. :)

Give this a try and if you have any other questions I will be happy to lend a hand!
