What happened to Subcategory Format? Can't Post
Our intranet uses the Subcategory Format - One Level option. Currently in 2.0 it uses the show all option. How do I modify so it displays the One Level option as in version 1.41?

Hi Tim,

Here is how to change the category menus to show only one level:

Admin > Publishing

Select modify for Category Menus (current category highlighted)
- in the Menu Format section, select the One Level radio button and save.

Next select modify for Global Menu (default menu)
- in the Menu Format section, select the One Level radio button and save.

In Admin > Publishing, select the checkbox for those two publishing rules and click the button at the bottom to "publish selected rules".

That should do it. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Also, in ArtMan1 there was two menu formats that were removed from ArtMan2. Here's how to reproduce them.

Under "Admin > Publish Rules" look for the publish rules with a type of "categoryMenu". For each one, scroll to the bottom and modify the "Menu Format". Select "Custom" with the following settings:

Selected Branch Only - Only show parents and subcategories of the selected category

- Show [0] level(s) of subcategories from root
- Show [1] level(s) of subcategories below selected category
- Show [parents only] above selected category
- [Show] selected category


Subcategories Only - Only show subcategories of the selected category

- Show [0] level(s) of subcategories from root
- Show [1] level(s) of subcategories below selected category
- Show [nothing] above selected category
- [Hide] selected category

After changing a rule, click the "publish" link by that rule to republish the menu and see if it's the one you wanted.
