Unusual error Can't Post

First time I have encountered this error. This is on installation, after entering key and verifying image folders and all that good stuff.

Error: Couldn't rename file! No such file or directory at /home/domain/www/cgi-bin/am/modules//IT/FreezeThaw.pm line 79.

The file is there. Though I notice the //, I doubt that is the problem.

Any ideas?

Got it working. Not actually sure what the problem was. I had installed it and configured it on a dev server, then transferred it and it works.

Has this error been resolved as I have the same problem with a new installation. I will raise a support ticket but if someone has a solution, please reply.

Hi Richard,

I'd recommend re-uploading all of the software files to see if that resolves the issue. If you're still encountering that error, submit a support request and we can take a closer look for you:

Re: [Jake] Unusual error [In reply to] Can't Post

was there a solution to this because I also have the same problem - I am moving my AM2 installation from one site where I never used it to another site

same server.

Thanks

Re: [margaretmh] Unusual error [In reply to] Can't Post

HI margaretmh,

Did you try re-uploading all of the software files as Chet suggested? Usually this error comes up when a file is missing from the modules directory, or if a software file is corrupted. You may also want to make sure that permissions on Article Manager's /data directory are set to "777" for Linux servers, of "Full Control" for Windows servers. If you're unable to resolve this error, send in a second-level support request:

Re: Unusual error [In reply to] Can't Post

I just had the exact same problem on Microsoft IIS.

I set the permissions for the CGI-BIN directory that contains AM2 to RWED (Delete was not set - I think "rename" implies it needs delete?).

Fixed the problem.
