Hi there, Upgrading from 2.14 to the latest version is pretty non-invasive -- it's just a matter of uploading some new files. No filenames will change. You can see the upgrade guide here: http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/doc.cgi?/articlemanager2/install/upgrade.html ...and the changelog here: http://www.interactivetools.com/upgrade/changelog.html#artman You can generally tell how "big" of an upgrade it is by the version number. An upgrade from 1-2 is a pretty big deal. An upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1 will be a medium-sized upgrade. Going from 2.1X to 2.1Y is pretty minor -- generally only recommended if you're having problems that the upgrade addresses. (See the changelog for what updates were made since your version.) You can download the latest version here: http://www.interactivetools.com/upgrade/ Changing servers is an entirely different process from upgrading, and I don't really recommend doing both at the same time. This will take a little more time, but is definitely do-able and not too much trouble. Basically you'll be moving your site from one server to another, and re-publishing everything. The re-publishing will be the part that takes the longest, especially since you have quite a few articles. Article Manager will need to re-create your site on your new server. Drop us an email for documentation on how to move from one server to another. It'll be slightly different depending on each setup, so when you email us, let us know if you're running a MySQL database or not. :) Or, if you'd rather have us do the move, feel free to contact our consulting department (consulting@interactivetools.com) with your login information and they can take a look at your site and give you a quote. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Donna -- support@interactivetools.com
