Just need some input Can't Post

I may sound stupid, but need to figure out if I am on the right track.

I want to strip out the graphic elements of a template page and insert my own colors, fonts, graphics. I am not familiar with CSS or .shtml includes, etc.

How do I do that?

Hi there,

Hmm, that's a little open ended, so it's hard to give suggestions. The templates themselves are located in the /templates/ directory, and you can look in the publish rules to see what each template does. A lot of the default styling is done via the CSS, but if you'd rather not use that, you can simply strip it out of the templates.

Includes are required for the templates -- basically it just means that each page is made up of multiple smaller pages, and pulled in together. You can usually just leave the includes alone and modify each of the different templates individually. See this page for a quick tutorial on how SSI's work:

I hope this helps. :)
