Is there a way to change publishing order? Can't Post

First thanks to all for great support for AM2.

I am trying to readjust the publishing order of the content but has not been able to figure out how to do achieve it. By default AM 2 publishes the rules dealing with "articlelists" first and then goes on to publish the rules dealing with "article pages". As I am operating a relatively large website and the publishing is sometimes slow, the homepage and other lists are always updated before the article is even published. This leads to a lot of to have 404 errors for the articles pages during the short period while the program is still publishing the stuff. Logically it would make sense if it can publish the rules dealing with article pages before the article lists, so that I can avoid these transient 404 errors. This is really an important issue as it looks bad for the latest stories of your website to have 404 error, even if it is only for a short window of time.

I hope my post makes some sense. Can anyone help me in changing the order of publishing in AM2?

H stag.

That's great questions! Not one I have an answer to just yet, but I'll pass it by Dave for you on Monday. In the meantime, let me know if you have anymore questions Smile.

Hi stag.

I actually tried looking into this for you myself and hadn't come up with anything that really works.

I just forwarded the post over to Dave though so he'll be able to start looking at it for you. As soon as I hear back from him, I'll let you know.

In the meantime, I am curious if you could give me a few details about what your publishing process looks like right now. Are you just going in and creating a new article?

When you do that, it shouldn't actually take too long as Article Manager will only need republish a few publish rules.

Perhaps you could send me a support request so I can take a closer look at what's going on:

I'll keep you updated and if you are sending in the support request, I look forward to hearing from you Smile.
