Image resizing Can't Post

In the general settings I checked the "Automatically resize uploaded images that exceed size" and set my parameters, however underneath I see:

Perl image module(s) detected
GD v2.041 (unsupported, loading errors)

No supported modules detected. Image thumbnailing and resizing not available.

Is this something I can address myself or does my hosting provider (Netfirms) need to have the GD version upgrade?

Hi there!

That's something you'd definitely have to have your hosting provider install. Article Manager supports ImageMagick 6.0.6+ or GD Perl Module (GD.pm 2.17+).

I hope this helps!

Is the php GD module not supported?

I have:
; Example lines:

extension=mysql.so
extension=gd.so

in my php.ini. and is the current module.

Thanks.

Hi

Article Manager is setup to work with the Perl version of GD. You can have the PHP version on there if you like, but Article Manager isn't setup to use it.

Keep me up to date with how you are making out :).
