From flat file to mysql Can't Post

Is is possible to switch from a flat file installation to mysql? It seems that when I installed AM2 on that account, I didn't turn on the mysql db and now our site is not taking advantage of the best speeds possible.

Can I turn on the switch in the admin settings without losing anything?

cheers

Hi,

Yes, you can switch from flatfile to mysql database at any time.

Make a backup of all your Article Manager files, then in the admin go to Admin > Database Editor.

Select "Move data to a new database" from the Database actions dropdown and click "Continue".

On the following page, choose the mysql radio button and enter your mysql database details.

Hope that helps.
