Expire articles Can't Post

Hello, is there an 'expire' function in the latest version? eg, if we wanted an article to appear only for 30 days for example.

This would need to be category specific.

Thanks

Re: [simonwh] Expire articles [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi,

There isn't an expire feature but tack a look at the "Auto Post Date and Expiration" add-on script from Michael at amscript.net.

I believe he is in the process and updating all his Article Manager version 1 add-on scripts to work with version 2.

Thanks. I tried that script already with AM version 1 but didn't like it.

I think you are missing out on a very important feature by not incorporating this ability within Article Manager as standard. We have a lot of customers who need to create time sensitive material or display articles for a short period only.

At the moment I have to tell them to manually delete. It would be easier if the publishing timeframe could be set at the time the article is created.

Thanks anyway.
