Error publishing Can't Post

I am getting an error when publishing

Publishing: Category Indexes - Racing (articleList)
- category: Racing
Error: no customPublishDir specified for publish rule! at (eval 177) line 10, <DATA> line 102.

Even if I disable the rule the next rule throws an error.

Publishing: Global RSS Feed (articleList)
Error: no customPublishDir specified for publish rule! at (eval 176) line 10, <DATA> line 643.

I have custom publishing directories for all except global rules such as the RSS feed above, for that one it is selected as the following.

Use default publish directory

Any thoughts?

Rob

Anyone got any ideas, as I would like to go live soon.

Thanks

Hi there.

Would you mind sending in a support request for that? I am not exactly sure what's happening there but if I can get in there and run some tests, I should be able to get to the bottom of this.

I look forward to hearing from you Smile.

Ross

The access details from my other support call still stand, any problems, let me know.

Hi Rob,

For security reasons, we don't actually keep those around for long. So to take a look, we'll need a new support request for this issue. :)

Replied to your email sorting out the access following the support call.

Has anything been sorted out with this yet as I still can't publish.

I REALLY need to get this sorted as I have a load of work to do prior to go live, which is next week.

Or, do I install an old copy of AM1?????

Please get back to me as I have been unable to do anything for 3 days now.

Hi Rob.

I just had a look at your site through the support request and wasn't having any trouble publishing so I was curious if you already had things resolved.

I was publishing by going right to your publish rules and publishing them all one at a time. I even created a few test articles without any trouble.

If you were still getting errors, could you let me know the steps that you were taking so I can try re-creating it from my end? For that one, it will be better if you reply to my email so I still have the log in details for Article Manager. Would you mind throwing some FTP details in there as well?

Either way, I look forward to hearing from you Smile.

Ross

I had to get the site underway as I had and still have a lot of content to put on the site so I bit the bullet and deleted the publishing rules and started from scratch again.

I will let you know if the problem re-occurs.
