Change from Artman 2 to CMS builder Can't Post

Now you have decided to discontinue AM2, you should offer a option to convert to cms builder. We are many that have been waiting for upgrades for the AM2.

I have been a client since this company was called edis digital. I used the RM software, but was forced to update as there didnt came any new upgrades, so i changed to AM2. Then CMSbuilder came, but you said the AM2 would still release updates, but that didnt happen.

So pretty much history repeats it selfs. :-(

I've been using AM since 2001. I wouldn't mind PAYING to get CMS Builder to be honest, but I have over 8,000 articles in AM2 at the moment and unless there's a way to convert all those to CMS Builder I have no intention of changing and upgrading.

Plus I'm still not convinced that CMS builder can do all the stuff that AM2 does. I use AM2 for my news site and it is very flexible not to mention I also power my iPhone App from it.

Besides that, changing the URL's of all news stories would create a headache for those links crawled in search engines already.

Hi Guys,

I wouldn't upgrade until you need to or you want to redesign your site. But I'd be happy to answer any questions and give you some support switching over.

We'll be figuring that out over the next few months as we help different AM1/2 users switch over.

Let me know any questions or concerns. You certainly don't need to switch right away.

Hope that helps!

I'm definitely also going to wait at least until you can provide a basic guideline on how to safely move everything over. A discount on CMS builder would be a nice thought for all your valued Article Manager customers!
