Auto Format and <br> tag Can't Post
Just upgraded from 1.41 to 2.02 and running through to make sure everything is working. My articles are getting ther extra <br> tag. I was previously able to get rid of that by turing off the "auto format" I don't see that in this version or?

Thanks for posting!

There is actually a way to stop those extra <br> tags from coming in like that. It's the same auto formatting as Article Manager 1; just toggled in a different part of the system now.

Log into Article Manager and go to Admin. From there, click on the Database editor and them modify for db_article.

Now you'll see a list of all the fields you get to use for articles. Click modify for the summary or content box (or both if you want to do the same thing for both of them).

On this page, you'll see a field called Editor Type. Check off Text Only and then check off Disable auto-formatting then hit save.

That should be it. You shouldn't be getting extra line break tags in your articles. Could you give this a shot and let me know how you make out?

I tried re-creating this locally and wasn't getting any extra <br> tags. Would you mind filling out a support request for me so I can take a closer look at what's going on?
