Article Manager 3 Can't Post

Hi,
Is there a article manager 3 in development or any new features we can look forward to in artman 2 coming soon?

Hi there.

Thanks for posting!

There isn't a set release date for the next version of Article Manager. We have constant upgrades coming out for CMS Builder (our other product) so it might be worth while to check that out to see if can do everything you need to.

Let me know if I can do any specific feature comparisons for you :).

Thanks - I've tried CMS builder but I didnt think it was a patch on Article Manager.

The main reason is you can't make pages on the fly, you have to manually copy the generated code into a html template which seems a backwards step from Article Manager?

Hi nacho,

You only have to copy the code once, it's like setting up a template in artman. But it is different and takes some getting used to.

The benefit is it's much faster to build sites. We've been able to decrease our development time by about half with CMSB.

But, as always, I recommend sticking with what you know for tight deadline projects and trying CMSB when there's time to learn something new.
