[unknown placeholder $published.relatedLinks$] Can't Post

I was trying to get a list of "More from this Section" links under an article text and got the following error message:

[unknown placeholder $published.relatedLinks$]

Shouldn't $published.relatedLinks$ result in the list of links from that section being included in the page?

This worked though:
<!--#include virtual="$published.relatedLinks.webpath$" -->

Hi Nigel,

Nope, a "published" placeholder just gives either the URL or the path (depending on the bit that follows it, ie "webpath").

If you wanted the output of a specific placeholder, it would be $article.relatedLinks$.

This is pretty generic though... as I'm not sure what you've setup "relatedLinks" to be. Is it just a straight text field with specific links? Is it its own publish rule? Give me an idea of what you've setup the relatedLinks placeholder to do and I can be more specific. :)
