more articles index pages Can't Post

Hi -
I seem to have a problem with my second and following index pages. The first page of articles is fine but the following ones mess up, apparently when they hit some PHP code.

I don't know if it's relevant but I've only noticed this happening since I upgraded to 1.41. Anyway, perhaps someone could take a look at it and see if they can offer any suggestions. I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to start, since I assume that the same index template is being used for the following pages as for the first one?

Here's a link to one of the index pages:

Re: [steve_e] more articles index pages [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Steve!

The main issue is that the "Next" button uses the search engine, and the extension on the page is therefore a .cgi, instead of a .php, so your server won't parse it for .php.

Article Manager has a built in method to get around this, which creates a temporary page with a .php extension, and pulls the code from there.

To enable this, click "setup options", and scroll down to "Dynamic Page Rendering". The method that will allow PHP code to work on dynamic pages is "Resolve SSIs and Server-side Scripting".

Give that a try. If you're still having problems, you may want to fill out a support request on our website. :)

Thanks Donna -
I should have worked that out for myself. It must have been re-set when I upgraded - it's been working fine for the last couple of years! Blush

Thanks again -
Regards, Steve.
