images in Email Alert Can't Post

hi.

i want to recieve "images" in my email alert when it publish or edit or ...

i add these lines to "notify.txt" file to recieve content and link of articles in emails :
Content : $art_content$
Link : $detail_link$

but i dont know what should i do to recive Images and also files that uploaded.

please let me know

Thanks for the post!

Adding images to your email alert could be done by using the following bit of code inside your notify.txt file


Code
Image: $img_url$

but it doesnt work.

i want to see the image in my email.

then i have to define which image number to show.

Hi Afshin,

Thanks for the post!

As the email that Article Manager sends out is written in text format there isn't actually a way that you're able to view an image through this email.

The email alerts in Article Manager were designed to be notifications for editors and administrators that content has been updated on the site rather than a formatted HTML email with the full content of the article.
