IT Guys & Gals,

In Artman Setup/General tab, in the "art_fields," if you enter anything with a double quote, everything from that point on gets truncated when viewing IN the setup after saving.

It gets added correctly and appears in the Article Editor, it just doesn't render properly in Setup.

Example:

art_field13: "Hello"

Appears totally blank in setup. Create a new article, and there she be!

Tried escaping with "\" (no pun intended). Nope... doesn't work.

Also, adding VERY long lines to a textfield-type of art_fieldN causes the Article Editor to go bonkers. The editors' body far exceeds the header and footer.

Not that it's a show-stopper. But...

Hi terrill,

We just noticed the "spare field double-quote" issue earlier today while suggesting a solution to another user's request. We'll be fixing this with the next minor revision of Article Manager.

Can you provide some more details on this problem, perchance? What exactly is the problem, and what do I need to do to recreate it? Examples are always appreciated. Smile I'll be happy to look into it, and we should be able to get that fixed with the next release as well.
