Your opinions please on article manager Can't Post

I am setting up a site for a cinema company and want them to be able to publish their own listing updates with pictures and links etc. Just how easy is this product to use from the administration and setup point of view and how tight a rein can you keep on user updates etc? Has anyone experience of users views on the product?

Yes....

I have numerous writers that have accounts on our AM. You can keep a very tight grip on them or give them full access. It really comes down to how you set it up.

1. From a setup standpoint, the key is to plan out your use of the fields prior to setting up the templates. If you do this you will have an easy time setting it up and getting it going.

2. From an ongoing standpoint, the only time you will spend is setting up writer accounts. Day to day is easy with AM.

3. From a control standpoint, you have 2 levels of writers in the AM system besides the admin. Writer and Trusted Writer. Writer requires you to manually change each article they write from pending to publish. Trusted writer allows them the ability to publish their own.

The system continues to get better all the time and it was great to start with. You cannot go wrong with this program. Been there, Done that!

Hope that helps!Cool

Hiya crawley

I have 15 writers in one site and the number is growing .. they all find it extremely easy to use and it DOES the job PERFECTLY.

From an admin point of view, Brian covered it pretty well ,, and i just second what he said.

The only thing it lacks is auto email to admin on article creation.
