Templates. Retrofit? Can't Post

Hi,

We have a huge site which we want to re-design and convert over to Article Manager. We have been wanting to do this for some time, but the hold up is that we haven't yet got round to designing a new look for the site.

We intend to copy and paste content from the existing site using Article Manager and from then on, use it to add new content on a daily basis.

My question is this - can we have Article Manager installed, then copy and paste the content over and THEN add the graphics and generally configure the templates?

When I say this, I mean can Interactive Tools retrofit the templates? When we've used Article Manager in the past, we've always used Interactive Tools to do the template part.

I hope this makes sense!

Hi there.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the board!

You can start adding content to Article Manager at any point you like. The templates don’t specifically need to be setup before hand so you could be loading your data file at the same time as doing the templates. That way, when you are done the templates, there is already data to launch your site.

Now, with the templates, we are definitely happy to help again this time and there are two different options. I can be helping you through our free support which would be me sending you examples and walkthroughs to use. The emphasis here would be on you doing the coding on your templates using my examples.

The second option will be our priority consulting which is a paid service that would take your templates and do all the integration for you. So all you would need is a template for us.

How does that sound? We are always happy to help so I look forward to hearing from you Smile.

Ross, that sounds great Smile

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll order Article Manager as soon as possible tomorrow. Your free support is brilliant - howver, we'll go for the priority consulting. We've used you for this before and I can't speak highly enough of your service Smile
