META Tags Can't Post

When I create a file it apparently does not put a meta tag for year into the code. This is problematic because the search in our database, that is sold to our customers, uses year for relevancy, it thus puts everything without a year last. This means that I have to download the files and edit them individually in Dreamweaver and then upload them again. This is a very timely process. Is there any way I can get Article Manager to automatically populate this stuff. Are there updates I need or anything?

Re: [HazmatShip] META Tags [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi there,

Thanks for your post. :)

You can totally customize any of the templates to include whatever tags you'd like. To output the year, use the following placeholder:

$art_year$

I'm not sure exactly how your meta tag is formatted, as "year" isn't a common meta tag, but if you put the placeholder mentioned where you want the year to be output, Article Manager will take care of the rest. :)

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. :)
