I'm trying to understand.. correct me if I'm wrong.. (I'm not able to log onto AM myself at the moment, so I'm going by memory! =) You're logging onto AM, and hit CREATE ARTICLE, setting the "article type" to "link". You copy and paste the URL you want to link to into its appropriate field, and ... (how do you select "blank"?) You type in a title to the "Title" field, and click SAVE. At that point, nothing of your work displays on the generated page except the URL? You might have built some custom settings with AM I'm not familiar with, but this is the only linking capability I know of that article manager does...
