Include headlines on template page Can't Post

Hi. I am trying to include some headlines on a template page (an article page that has articles associate with it). The way I set it up is this: I created an art field (in this case, art_field15). In the artfield in put this string of text: http://www.webaddress.com/cgi-bin/artman/exec/search.cgi?cat=1&perpage=999&fields=art_field14&keyword=text&template=search/portfolio.html

On the template page I put: <!-- #include virtual="art_field15" -->

But, nothing is showing up. Can you let me know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Wendy

Re: [wendy] Include headlines on template page [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Wendy.

Thanks for posting!

There are a couple things you'll want to try adjusted there. First, SSI paths don't actually need the whole domain in there so you will want to just be using this part:

/cgi-bin/artman/exec/search.cgi?cat=1&perpage=999&fields=art_field14&keyword=text&template=search/portfolio.html

Next, the placeholder you are using on your template doesn't appear to have the dollar signs around it. Could you try changing your SSI to this:

<!-- #include virtual="$art_field15$" -->

That should get you going again. Give it a shot and let me know how you make out Smile.
