If you lose your password Can't Post

Don't tell me...it has to be re-installed Pirate

So, okay, I cannot for the life of me remember the username password I set up as admin, and no, it isn't in my little black notebook of usernames and passwords. Yes, I feel like a complete IDIOT.

Now what? I think I read somewhere that I need to reinstall the whole thing. Any tips or tricks? Any shortcut? Anyone able to look into a data file and retrieve the little stinkers instead? Hmmm...

Yes! If you ftp back to your machine the file: account.dat.cgi, and open it with notepad, you can get your log in info. Now, if I can just find my little black notebook with all my other usernames and passwords...

I think you just answered your own question there. Obviously for security purposes we don't want it to be possible to recover the password without using FTP. I suspect we'll be implementing one of those "email me my password" utilities in the future.
