Sorry if this one has been asked already I couldn't find it in the threads. i would like to create a custom 404 error page, that works with Article Manager.

Is it possible to create one and pull in the css elements (example background, etc)

Thanks!!

Hi Turnstyle!

A custom 404 page is actually something done on the hosting side, rather than the software side. Contact your hosting provider and they can give you more instructions on how they'd like you to set that up to work with their servers.

What they'll most likely end up giving you is a location to put a file called 404.html. Since this is a regular HTML page, you can do anything with it that you would normally do with an HTML page, including adding Article Manager content. Nothing special needs to be done to have this work with Article Manager.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. :)
