Full article display on frontpage? Can't Post

Just have to say 1st, the support response time here is great. Wink

now what I'm trying to do is add a full page or even a article summary with a pic to my front page on the top.

you can see an example here : http://www.68caliber.com

as it is now we're just inputting html into those 2 top boxes.

I know there has to be a easy way. Tottaly new to AM and this redesign is proving tricky with this program.

Hoping AM 2 has alot more features.

Hi there.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the board!

The way I would do this is create a whole new category called “Front Page Articles”. For this category you would build a new index template that only displays the article list and not all the category list and headlines etc. From there, you would just need to use an include to pull the content from that new category index page and have it display in the box at the top of your page.

Does that sound like it would work? Let me know what you think and I’ll go into more details if you like Smile.
