Embedded links to other AM articles Can't Post

Can you add a feature that allows links embedded within the article to other articles.

For example, within the text I could add the following:

Email is pretty fast, but the immediacy of online 'chat' is undeniably compelling. Aided by an instant messaging and collaboration tool from Chicago-based ***SLink:175***Divine***ELink***, staff in ***SLink:234****ABN Amro's Global Financial Markets***ELink*** division now chat with their far-flung colleagues on a daily basis.

"SLink:#" would insert the and the hyperlink to article #.

"ELink" would add the .

This would allow the ability to link to other pages within an existing article. If you have a better way, let me know.

thanks in advance

Re: [jcocking] Embedded links to other AM articles [In reply to] Can't Post

Really cool idea!

How about shorting the syntax to something akin to WordStar (the early years) "dot Command" syntax:

In a .Slink:234.recent article.Elink., so-and-so said...

Everything between the paired dots would become part of the command. A bit cleaner to "read" while writing the article, and a bit easier to process (from the programmer's perspective).
