Delete Articles Can't Post
What may be the best way to delete articles by the "batch" ?

Would a check box feature be a future consideration for a coming upgrade ? ie: like email systems where you chek a "check box" next to every article you want to delete or archive ?

Hiya pat ..

great idea .. and much needed indeed.

currently i use a tedious work around to archive specific articles by assigning articles to a hidden category first, then i will archive that category.

BTW, how do you Unarcvhive articles? <sorry, this question is off-topic>

While you can't select several individual articles and delete them by batch, what you can do is use the Archive feature to delete several articles from a specific date range.

Just go to "Setup Options" -> "Archives" -> and move a selected date range of articles to a new archive group (you can call this archive group "Delete"). Once you've archived these articles simply just delete the archive group.

A check box feature is a great idea and something we would like to consider for the next major version (version 2.0) of Article Manager.

Hey Luke,

Is this function only available in one of the upgrades? I dont seem to see it in my ArtMan. I sent in a request for an upgrade today. I'd really like to be able to do this- I have almost 3000 articles now and really want to get rid of a bunch of them easily....

Hi,

The ability to archive articles is a new feature just recently added (available in versions 1.11 and up). When you receive your upgrade you'll be able to begin using this new feature. :)

When in the Archives tab in the Setup Options, select the archive group you would like to unarchive from the "Move From" field, set your date range, and move the articles to an "existing archive" called "Current Articles".
