A few questions regarding a move

I have not posted on the forum for nearly two years, but I continue to be a happy user of four AM 1 licences. Running fine, never any problem - what a good product! The questions which I have have probably been answered many times, but I have not been able to locate all the answers, since the forum is very rich. I am about to move three of the websites for which I use AM to a new host. Not in hurry: I will do it one at a time, over a few weeks. Since I am extremely busy those months, I have gladly accepted the offer of the host to move the websites for me, at least for those where cPanel is used. Question: can he just move a website using cPanel and containing parts produced with AM the same way he would move a website having just usual HTML content? Should the person doing the transfer take care of specific things, or just backup cPanel on the original website and restoring it as it is on the new website? Then comes of course the question of upgrading from AM 1 to AM 2. Regarding two of the websites, they have been produced with AM 1, I have a AM licence for each of them, but content is no longer updated and maintained primarily as archived content. In such cases, I assume it does not make any sense to upgrade from AM 1 to AM 2? Regarding the other website, which continues to be updated regularly, I understand that it is better first moving it, and then consider to upgrade to AM 2. However, since AM 1 is working so well, has only some 400 articles, I must confess that I don't feel any urgency to upgrade, I am afraid an upgrade would just cause unexpected problems. Your opinion about that? When do you advise to take the upgrade step? Could it become more difficult if I wait too long? Thank you for your information and advice, it will be quite helpful!
