GoForum question Can't Post

Okay, I'm using a very old version of GoForum, I believe it's 1.09, the one that it was free ages ago. I know, I'm cheap. :)

Anyway, just a question, whenever I'm posting it always posts as Guest instead of the specified username that is listed in the .ini file.

Usually I wouldn't mind, but if I have to cut the spam that is being posted, I have to set phpbb to post only when a registered guest posts.

And since GoForum is posting as a guest despite the settings to post as registered member "news", I cannot set phpbb to that.

Any ideas?

Re: [ColinW-O] GoForum question [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Colin,

Thanks for the post!

We don't actually develop GoForum anymore what you may want to do is check the site below:

http://www.amscripts.net/

This is a link to a person who has made a business out of creating Article Manager add-on scripts. They are also the people that maintain and have developed newer versions of GoForum. I would recommend contacting them and seeing if they can help you resolve this issue.

Does this help Colin? If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask. :)
