Hi All,

We've just released v3.00 (Build 2055).

We've been running this version on our server for over a month and we absolutely love it.  The major new feature are:

  • Mobile Responsive Design - We've completely rewritten the backend to be mobile responsive using Bootstrap 3, while maintaining a familiar look & feel to version 2.
  • Major Rewrite - We've optimized and rewritten many of the program internals for better performance and maintainability moving forward
  • Dozens of bug fixes and improvements - Many minor bugs, issues, and annoyances have been addressed.
  • New Server Requirements -  PHP 5.4.0+ and MySQL 5.0+ (make sure you have this before upgrading!  Check the bottom of the Admin > General page)

BEFORE UPGRADING:

  • Make sure your server has PHP 5.4 or better.
  • Most plugins work but need updating for version 3.0 to match the new design.  We'll be updating these in the coming days.  Post any plugins you need and we'll update them first.  If you have a mission critical system that relies on plugins we recommend you do a test upgrade on a copy of the site first to confirm plugins work as expected.
  • For plugin authors, there's some upgrade instructions in the file "how to upgrade from v2.txt"

Also note that with this version there is no color scheme selected on install by default so you'll get a white interface.

If that's the case then after installing or upgrading you can set your theme under: Admin > General > Color / Theme

Our favorite is "theme_blue.css".

Post a new thread with any questions or feedback, thanks!
