Step 4 - This page asks you to enter the URL to the Page Publisher images directory. Enter the URL to the Page Publisher images directory and click 'Test' to see if the images can be found.

Note: Most servers won't display images in the /cgi-bin/ directory. If you've installed the program under /cgi-bin/ and the images aren't being displayed try uploading all the image files to another directory such as "/cgi-images/" or into the web root under a "/pp/" directory.

In the Images URL field, enter the relative URL to the images directory. So, if your Page Publisher images directory is on your site here, "http://www.mywebsite.com/pp/images/", you would enter in the relative URL which is "/pp/images/".

Once the test image displays correctly click 'Next' to continue.

Step 5 - This page asks you to enter the directory path and the URL to the Page Publisher Uploads directory. Both the Upload Dir and the Upload URL must point to the same directory.

Put a checkmark in the "Allow Uploads" checkbox if you wish to allow users to upload images and/or files to be stored on the server. You can enable or disable this feature later in the program's Setup Options.

The "Upload Dir" is the top level directory on the server where images and files will be stored.  It may contain sub-directories which also may be used to store uploaded files.  This directory is commonly named "uploads" and it often resides in the same place as the "images" directory.  It must be world writable in order to receive uploaded files.

The Upload URL is an absolute web url to the "Upload Dir".  For example: http://www.mysite.com/pp/uploads/  If you choose not to enable file uploading during installation, you can easily do this later in "Setup Options".

Once the "Upload Dir" and "Upload URL" have been entered, click 'Next' to continue.
