General Settings

Titlebar Message

This field lets you specify the page title of all the pages in your administration interface. It will be the same thing for all levels of user and can be changed at anytime.

Program Name

This is the name of your program. This is mainly changed as part of Private Labeling. The product name will be included with email notifications (if you have them setup) and with upgrading.

Program Version

This is the version you are currently running.

Program Settings

Max Category Depth

This is how deep you can have the categories go. Each time a category is added as a child of another, you increase the category depth. If you already have it set as 3, you'll need to update this setting before adding a new catorgy as the 4th level.

Upload Settings

Upload Restrictions

With this list you can specify what file extensions your visitors can upload. You can also specify the maximum file size they can upload. This applies to all types of files including images.

Image Restrictions

When you set maximum image dimensions and check off the "Automatically resize uploaded images that exceed size" box, images that exceed the dimensions will be resized as they are uploaded. This means you can upload any size image. If you leave the box unchecked, images that exceed the dimensions will not be uploaded.

Checking "Automatically create thumbnails" will give you the option of displaying a thumbnailed version of your image when it is placed in the article. The thumbnail will be created with the dimensions you specify here.

An important thing to remember here is that if an image is cropped it will keep the same proportions.

Perl image module(s) detected

The program is setup to automatically work with either the ImageMagick or GD module. This field lists all the currenlty available modules. If none are listed, you can ask your webhost if they can install one for you.

Security Settings

Require HTTPS

This check box is for sites that use https instead of regular http.

Directory Ceiling

This is a security feature that limits access to your web server's file structure for non-admin users. Right now, this field isn't used by the program as non-admins don't have access anyway.

Remove Code Blocks

This is another security feature. When this is checked any server side coding like PHP and ASP will be removed from any article fields automatically.
